RELIGIOUS TOURISM

Religious tourism in Lourdes plays a central role, attracting millions of pilgrims from around the world each year. It was here, in 1858, that Bernadette Soubirous claimed to have seen 18 apparitions of the Virgin Mary in the Massabielle grotto, making Lourdes a place of faith and hope.

The Notre-Dame de Lourdes sanctuary, the spiritual heart of the city, brings together a basilica, grotto, fountains and pools, offering a journey of prayer and meditation.

The Badge belongs to the Sanctuary and not to Camping du Loup. It is available to you at the campsite reception for a deposit of €50 in check or cash. As this badge is subject to a security check, it will only be given to you and collected during reception opening hours. Please make your own arrangements.
